Entry and Exit Instructions

There are three ways to enter and exit the car parks. Select your method below for step-by-step instructions.

Entry

Have your confirmation email ready on your phone.
Scan the QR code at the entry gate reader – the barrier will lift automatically.
Do not tap your credit card or take a ticket.

Exit

Scan the same QR code at the exit gate reader – the barrier will lift.
If you’ve stayed longer than booked, any overstay fees can be paid at the exit gate.

Entry – both car parks

Tap your Visa or Mastercard at the card reader on arrival.
The barrier will open — park in any available bay.

Exit – General Parking

Tap the same card used for entry at the exit card reader.
A receipt will be issued and the barrier will lift.

Exit – Security Parking

Tap your card at the door to re-enter the car park, then again at the exit gate.
A receipt will be issued and the barrier will open.

Entry

Press the flashing button at the entry gate and collect your ticket. The barrier will open – keep your ticket safe, you will need it to exit.

Exit – two options

Option 1: Pay at the terminal before returning to your car

Take your ticket to an automatic pay station inside the terminal. Pay by cash or card – you will be issued a validated parking ticket. Insert the validated ticket at the exit gate on your way out.

Option 2: Pay at the exit gate

Insert your ticket at the exit gate machine. Pay by card – the barrier will lift once payment is made.

Cancellation Protection

For just an extra $5.00 you can cancel your booking up to 1 hour before the day of travel and avoid a cancellation charge.

Parking FAQs

Can I alter my booking details after I have entered the carpark?

No, bookings cannot be altered once you have entered the carpark.

What do I do if my plans change, and I will need to have my car parked for longer than my original booking?

Nothing, Scan your original QR code on exit and the system will prompt you to pay the difference between your original booking and your extended stay.

My flight has been delayed, can I exit the carpark with my QR code and come back later in the day with the same QR code?

No, Bookings are single use only. If the situation above occurs, please contact Coffs Harbour Airport staff on 0437 569 591 to discuss.

My plans changed and I came back earlier than expected - can I get a reimbursement for the booking time not used?

No, the system reserves spaces when online bookings are made, therefore bookings are not able to be partially refunded on a pro-rata basis.

My Flight was cancelled after I had arrived at the Airport, Can I get a refund for my parking?

Generally, refunds are not provided when flights are cancelled, however depending on the specifics at the time, refunds may be considered. If you believe there are extenuating circumstances related to airport facilities, please contact our staff on 0437 569 591. We also suggest that you consider an appropriate level of travel insurance when booking travel arrangements.

Is there a Grace period for Early Entry or a Late exit?

Yes, when you have booked online, there is a grace period of 1 hour either side of your booking.
